Enabling installation of unknown applications in android allows you to install apps that cannot be found on the google play store. Sometime your friend will share with an app via share it, to install it on your android device you will need to enable the installation of unknown applications on your phone. In case you want to root your phone and you need to use the kingroot root application you will have to download the kingoroot from the website and install it on your android device. But your device will not allow you to install the app until you enable the option.
