By flashing your phone you mean that you want to load new flash files or firmware into your phone using a computer or an external storage device such as an SD card. but today we are going to show you how to flash your mobicel beam using a computer since most people these days they do have personal computers and yes they do know how to operate these computers. There are a couple of reason why you would wish to flash your mobicel Beam. If the system files on your computer are corrupted and your phone will not boot past the mobicel screen then it means you will need to repair the system files by flashing your phone using a new firmware. also if you wish to upgrade the firmware that is being used on your phone to a higher or a better version of the firmware you can also download the firmware you wish to use and flash that firmware onto your phone using a computer.
Tools you will need to flash your mobicel Beam
The first thing you will need is a computer that is running Windows or iOS.
You will also need to have a USB data cable (some cables are only meant for charging)
You will also need to have the mobicel beam next to you
Files you will need to flash your mobicel Beam.
Download the mobicel beam stock firmware here.
Download the SPD upgrade tool here.
Download the SPD drivers here and follow the installation instructions given.
Flashing instructions
Firstly you will need to unzip all the downloaded files.
Open the SPD upgrade tool folder and scroll down to the file named upgrade download and double click that file to run the SPD upgrade to.
now that the SPD upgrade tool is running click the gear button on the top left of the tool and use the navigation window to navigate to the firmware folder and doubleclick the firmware to load the firmware into the flash to. Wait until the firmware is completely loaded.
Now click the start button with a play button icon on top.
switch off your phone and wait until the phone is completely off then press and hold the volume up button and connect the phone to the computer using the USB data cable without releasing the volume button.
The flash tool will start loading the files into your phone, wait until the flashing process is completed then disconnect the phone and switch it on
