Here are the instructions on how to hard reset the Stylo Air

  1. Turn off your Stylo Air. You can do this by pressing and holding the power button for a few seconds, then tapping Power off.
  2. While your Stylo Air is turned off, press and hold the volume down button and the power button at the same time.
  3. Keep holding both buttons until you see the LG logo appear on the screen.
  4. Release the power button, but keep holding the volume down button.
  5. Use the volume buttons to scroll down to wipe data/factory reset and press the power button to select it.
  6. Use the volume buttons to scroll down to yes - delete all user data and press the power button to select it.
  7. The Stylo Air will now start to reset. This process may take a few minutes.
  8. Once the reset is complete, your Stylo Air will reboot.

Important: A hard reset will erase all of the data on your Stylo Air, including your apps, photos, videos, and settings. Be sure to back up any important data before you perform a hard reset.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind when hard resetting your Stylo Air:

  • If you have a microSD card inserted into your Stylo Air, you can choose to erase all of the data on the card as well. To do this, simply scroll down to wipe cache partition and press the power button to select it.
  • After the reset is complete, you will need to set up your Stylo Air again. This includes setting up your Google account, signing in to your apps, and restoring any data that you backed up.
  • A hard reset is a drastic measure that should only be used as a last resort. If you are experiencing problems with your Stylo Air, try other troubleshooting steps first, such as restarting your phone, clearing the cache, or uninstalling and reinstalling apps.
