How to Hard Reset Stylo Maverick 4G Without a PC

How to Hard Reset Stylo Maverick 4G Without a PC

Is your Stylo Maverick 4G stuck on the logo, freezing, or locked out because you forgot your password? A hard reset (factory reset) can bring it back to life! This method will erase everything on your phone—apps, contacts, messages—so only use it if necessary. If you can, back up your data first.

Now, let’s get your phone running like new again!

Step 1: Turn Off Your Stylo Maverick

1. Press and hold the Power button until the power menu appears.

2. Tap Power Off and wait for the phone to shut down.

3. If your phone is frozen, force shut it down by holding the Power + Volume Down buttons for about 10 seconds until it turns off.

Step 2: Enter Recovery Mode

1. Press and hold the Volume Up + Power buttons at the same time.

2. When the Stylo logo appears, release only the Power button but keep holding Volume Up.

3. When you see the Android Recovery Menu, let go of all buttons.

Step 3: Wipe Your Data (Factory Reset)

1. Use the Volume Down button to navigate to “Wipe data/factory reset”.

2. Press the Power button to select it.

3. Use Volume Down again to highlight “Yes – delete all user data”.

4. Press the Power button to confirm.

Step 4: Restart Your Phone

1. Wait for the reset to complete (this might take a few minutes).

2. Once done, select "Reboot system now" by pressing the Power button.

Your phone will restart, and you’ll see the setup screen, just like when it was brand new. Now, you can set it up again from scratch!
