How to reset any android phone

What is soft reset

Soft reset is not the same as the hard reset, you can not use soft reset in case you forgot your pattern, pin or password. Soft reset is use to reset all the settings to factory setting, though it also delete all the data on your phone and also removes the password, pattern or pin on your phone. Most people uses soft reset when their device start to freeze are they start to lag. You do not use the physical keys to performe the soft reset method on your android phone.

To soft reset your device you only need to charge your device. You do not need a computer or any special tool to complete this process. Bit to do this you must know your pattern, pin or password. Remember, soft resetting your device will also delete all the data and application stored or installed on the phone storage so you also need to backup your data on an external storage before you perform the soft reset process on your android phone or tablet.
Instructions

Make sure the device is unlock and you have a full backup of all you data. If you have the backup on you memory card, please remove the memory card from your phone. Remove your Sim card as well. Follow the instructions carefully to achieve positive results.

1. From you him screen, go to settings. You access the settings app from the app drawer or you can pull down the taskbar from the top and tap settings.
2. Scroll down to "Backup and Reset" tap it.
3. Now tap "Factory data reset"
4. Now tap "Reset phone"

Wait for the phone to restart, some phone take few seconds to restart. Done!!
