How to hard reset Stylo s40

If you happen to forget the password of your phone that means you will be locked out of your phone and you won't be able to use any feature on the phone. there are many reasons that can cause you to forget your password pattern or PIN on your stylo s40. if you leave your phone in the house and go for your vacation and come back after a long period of time you might not remember the pattern you used on your phone or the password on the phone. so if you ever forget your password and wish to use you phoned it means you are bound to do a hard reset on your phone to gain access to your phone again.

Instructions

1. If you wish to hard reset any phone first of all you must switch off the phone by pressing and holding the power button until the power menu pops up and then tap the shutdown option and wait for the phone until the phone is completely off.

2. Now that your phone is off we must boot the phone into recovery mode. press and hold the power button for 1 second and then press and hold volume down button without releasing the power button. release only the power button when the phone starts to boot and when you see the green Android release the volume down button. 

3.  now that your phone is on recovery mode use the volume down button to scroll down to the “wipe data/ factory reset” option and tap the power button to select the highlighted option.

4. On the next screen use the volume down button to scroll down to the yes option and tap the power button to select the option.

5. Now the phone will delete all user data and after deleting it will return to the recovery mode. and now the highlighted option is reboot system now tap the power button to select the highlighted option and the phone will reboot normally.
